🌙 Rooted in the 13th-century teachings of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rum, the Mevlevi Sema Ceremony is a deeply spiritual ritual performed by whirling dervishes. The ceremony symbolizes divine love, cosmic harmony, and the purification of the soul. Preserved from the Ottoman era to the present day, the Sema is both a religious practice and a cultural tradition, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity 🌍.
Through this event, the organizers aim to share the universal message of Rumi and to contribute to the preservation and celebration of spiritual and cultural heritage in the Netherlands 🇳🇱. This special evening offers a unique opportunity to embark on a spiritual journey while strengthening intercultural dialogue and connection 🤝.
