About Arab West Foundation

Promoting Intercultural Dialogue

Established in 2005 as a non-profit organization, the Arab-West Foundation is registered in the Netherlands as Stichting Arab-West Foundation. Our aim is to encourage and promote tolerance, understanding and dialogue between Muslim and non-Muslim communities and societies as well as the Arab and Western Worlds.
The Arab-West Foundation in the Netherlands is the owner and publisher of Arab-West Report (ISSN number 2210-3597). Arab-West Report, in 2022 renamed Dialogue Across Borders (ISSN number 2949‐6934), commissions the Center for Intercultural Dialogue and Translation in Egypt (CIDT) to facilitate production. The Center for Arab-West Understanding (CAWU), also based in Egypt, contributes some content, as per agreement. We have a large network across the Middle East and North-Africa as well organizations in Europe with similar aims.
ABOUT ANNA LINDH FOUNDATION

Uniting Cultures Across Borders

Serving the global communities since 2005, the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) functions as a Euro-Mediterranean intergovernmental organization headquartered in Alexandria. Drawing inspiration from the legacy of Anna Lindh, the foundation is dedicated to advancing intercultural dialogue with the aim of building inclusive societies that honor diversity and ensure every voice is heard. By championing peace, justice, and collaborative partnerships, the ALF works toward fostering a world where individuals from varied cultural backgrounds coexist harmoniously through genuine and constructive exchanges.
ALF unites organizations, institutions, policymakers, and other agents of change from across Euro-Mediterranean countries to foster dialogue and collaboration. Through its various programmes and initiatives, it provides opportunities for individuals to connect, learn, and work together, aiming to empower them to generate a ripple effect of positive transformation that reaches more people and communities. The Foundation's efforts are anchored in two key pillars: its National Civil Society Networks, comprising over 4,500 members, and the 43 member states represented on its Board of Governors.
